MEDI TAXI

This is a special purpose vehicle designed for people who have special needs, wheelchair or stretcher transportation, with or without medical supervision / assistance during transportation.The service is offered to patients for transport from and to nursing homes, visit to the doctor’s clinic/hospital, upon discharge from the hospital to home/rehabilitation centre/assisted living centres or even for attending an event / function.

The service is only offered for transporting a patient or a physically challenged person.

Guardian Angel Homecare offers two types of services under Non Emergency Medical Transportation(NEMT) service:

NEMTS – Silver

1) This service is offered to patients who DO NOT require medical supervision/assistance of a skilled nurse during transfer.

2) While the driver of the vehicle will assist in boarding and disembarking the vehicle, there will not be any medical assistance during the transfer.

NEMTS – Gold

1) This service is offered to patiente who REQUIRE medical supervision/assistance of a skilled nurse during transfer.

2) While the driver of the vehicle will assist in boarding and disembarking the vehicle, the accompanying skilled nurse will provide the necessary supervisory and nursing assistance to the patient during travel.

NEMT – Drivers

Drivers are carefully selected and specially trained in passenger assistance. They are briefed on sensitivity and defensive driving and have clear orders on how to conduct themselves while receiving clients, during the journey and at the time of seeing them off at the destination.
