Founded in 2012, we began as the first home care services in Kerala, driven by the simple yet powerful idea that everyone deserves to be cared for the way we would care for our own. Over the past 13 years, we've supported over 5,000 individuals across Kerala and beyond - offering nursing, caregiving, physiotherapy, maternal care, and more, all delivered with expertise and empathy.

Our team now includes over 100 caregivers, nurses, and therapists - each chosen not only for their skill, but for their compassion, respect, and ability to connect with the families they serve. We take pride in being South India’s first and the only QAI-accredited provider of home care services in Kerala. We're also part of the Stanford Seed Transformation Program, and active members of NatHealth and EPiHC - reflecting our commitment to global standards in ethical and accountable care. Our mission is to provide trusted and professional care through a qualified home nurse in Kerala, upholding the highest standards of service and compassion.

In 2021, we extended our mission through the Guardian Angel Foundation and Institute of Caregiving, championing training, community support, and the professionalisation of caregiving in India.

Our Story

Professional Home Nurse in Kerala Bringing Expert Care to Your Home

Guardian Angel Homecare was born out of a deeply personal experience. While in Australia with her family, our co-founder, Ms. Sheeba Tom, faced a sudden medical emergency that left her nearly bedridden. During her recovery, she experienced an extraordinary level of care - nurses, doctors, and physiotherapists working together with empathy, precision, and dedication. The care wasn’t just clinical; it was human, coordinated, and deeply reassuring.

This experience stayed with her. She and her husband couldn't help but ask - why wasn’t such a concerted and personalised approach part of home nursing in India?

Motivated by this gap, and informed by extensive research into global home healthcare systems, they set out to create a home care services in Kerala that combined international best practices with a uniquely Indian sense of warmth and connection. From the very beginning, compassion wasn’t an add - on - it was the foundation.

What was missing in India wasn’t just trained homecare professionals - it was a deeper model of care rooted in empathy, trust, and dignity. That’s what they set out to build with Guardian Angel Homecare. Today, we continue this mission by providing highly skilled home nurse in Kerala who deliver care with the same empathy, dedication, and personalized attention that inspired its founding.
