Guardian Angel Homecare and Rotary Cosmos, Kochi Conduct Breast Health Screening Camp on World Cancer Day
In observance of World Cancer Day, Guardian Angel Homecare, in association with Rotary Cosmos, Kochi, successfully conducted a Breast Health Screening Camp aimed at promoting early detection and awareness of breast cancer among women in the community.
The screening was carried out using SAFEBreast, a specialised breast health screening service backed by the iBreast device—an FDA-cleared technology that is painless, radiation-free, and provides instant reports. Designed for safe and efficient mass screening, the technology helps in the early detection of breast abnormalities, supporting timely diagnosis and intervention.
The camp was held at the N.S.S. Karayogam Building, Kadavanthra, and was open to the public through prior registration. The event was formally inaugurated in the presence of Chief Guest Rtn. Lakshmi Narayan- AG Rotary Dist. 3205 , highlighting the importance of community-driven preventive healthcare initiatives.
The camp witnessed strong participation from women across age groups and received positive feedback for its professional execution, accessibility, and focus on early diagnosis through advanced, non-invasive technology.
Encouraged by the success of this initiative, Guardian Angel Homecare and Rotary Cosmos, Kochi plan to organise more such breast health screening camps in the future, reaffirming their shared commitment to preventive healthcare and community well-being.
At Guardian Angel Homecare, we believe that quality care begins with early detection, awareness, and access—right where people need it most.
